| During the past 16 years Daniel DeVol Custom Builder Inc. has established themselves as one of the Dayton areas premiere custom homebuilders. As founder and President, Dan DeVol has always attributed his success to the solid base that he built for himself early in his career. Starting at the age of 17, working for Appalachian Forest Products, a company that manufactured molding and interior trim, Dan knew he had a passion for woodworking. He started DeVol Woodworks at the age of 19 specializing in high end finish carpentry and cabinetmaking, sub-contracting his services to Dayton area homebuilders. Dan spent the next 10 years perfecting his skills. Dan formed his own Custom Home Building Company in 1994, and has since built in excess of sixty homes. Early in his building career Dan did much of the work in his homes including the foundation work, framing, exterior trim, painting, tile work and of course installing all of the interior trim work including custom building the kitchens and vanities. Daniel DeVol Custom Builder is a Registered Builder Member of the Home Builders Association of Dayton and is currently serving on the HBA Board of Directors. With a passion for the industry Dan regularly attends the National Homebuilders Convention and networks with other Homebuilders from around the nation. As a Certified Green Building Professional (CGP) Dan is commited to incorporating environmental considerations and resource efficiency into every step of the home building process. Dan has been married to his wife Erika for 10 years and they have 6 and 8 year old boys, Sam and Nick. Dan spends his spare time coaching youth athletics and spending time with family. |
